Thanks to a generous donation by Countryside Properties (Bicester) Limited, developer of Kingsmere, the new housing development in Bicester, Chesterton Football Team’s Under 13 team has a new away kit all ready for the new football season in September.

The new golden yellow kit proudly displays the Kingsmere logo accompanied by the Chesterton FC emblem.

Second Phase of Kingsmere Gets Go Ahead

Plans for up to 726 additional new homes at Kingsmere on the outskirts of Bicester have been approved. Countryside Properties (Bicester) Ltd’s proposals for the second phase of Kingsmere, which were approved by Cherwell District Council on 7th August, also include a primary school, a public square, retail space and sports pitches. The consent for the second phase will bring the total number of new homes at Kingsmere up to a maximum of 2,450.

Wildlife is Thriving at Kingsmere

Wildlife levels at Kingsmere in Bicester have increased significantly since construction on the development began according to the latest annual ecology survey of the site. A large number of new wildlife habitats have been created as part of the development of the new village on the outskirts of Bicester by Countryside Properties. Populations of wading birds and butterfly species are among those particularly thriving in the new habitats, with more butterflies than ever before being recorded this year.
