Kingsmere Community and Youth Centre thrives in its first year
The Kingsmere Community and Youth Centre, which officially opened its doors in September 2018, has come a long way over the past year. Since opening, the number of hours used in the centre have more than doubled from 209 in September 2018 to 470 in September 2019. The number of regular hirers also increased from 40 in December 2018 to 77 by the end of November 2019. read more…
Construction is well underway at Whitelands Academy
Construction at Whitelands Academy, Bicester’s newest 600-pupil school, continues to progress well. Located within Kingsmere, the 5,210 sqm school will host 26 classrooms, a garden area, a four-court sports hall with changing facilities and external social spaces, which include allotments. Sports enthusiasts will also be well catered for, with sports pitches for rugby, hockey and football, as well as a multi-use games area, being built. read more…
