The Bardwell Youth Under 11’s team have kicked off their 2020 season under the sponsorship of Kingsmere, Bicester’s newest village development, being developed by Countryside.
The team now train and play at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground in Kingsmere and have used the funds from Kingsmere’s sponsorship to procure brand new Nike kits. This year has seen some exciting developments take place for the team, who have gone from previously training and playing at St. Edburg’s C of E Primary School – also located on Kingsmere – to the much larger pitches and more sophisticated facilities that the Whitelands Farm Sports Ground offers.
The move also opens up potential avenues for collaboration with other football teams that currently train there, such as the Bicester Town Colts Football Club, Bure Park Football Club, Chesterton Football Club and Launton Football Club.
Whitelands Farm Sports Ground hosts a 3G pitch for football, rugby and other activities. It also has a separate open space comprising of grass pitches for football and rugby, a perimeter track suitable for running, cycling and wheelchair use. The impressive sports pavilion at Whitelands has a spacious function room, together with a cafe and licensed bar.

The football club’s next match will be played on Sunday, 9th February, with the Bardwell Under team 11’s playing Heyford Park Under 11’s.
To be eligible to play in the Bardwell U11’s team, children must be at least 10 years of age on 1st September, 2019, and currently not older than 11.
