Planning Applications

All planning applications relating to the Kingsmere site can be viewed on the Council’s Public Access website:

To view an application via this link, you will first get to the home page. Here, click on “Application Search” (top left hand corner of the page). On the next page it will ask for the application reference number. Type in the planning application number for the application you are interested in, then click on the “Search” button at the bottom of the page, and this will take you to the relevant documents and information regarding that application. All key applications (and their application numbers) relating to Kingsmere are listed in the table below.

The Development News page provides news on the most recent planning applications or those currently being considered by the Council.

Just to clarify the different types of applications:

1) Outline planning permission (approved June 08) – 06/00967/OUT. This gave permission for the principles of development and land use arrangements.

2) Strategic Reserved Matters applications (REM). These are submitted by Countryside Properties (Bicester) Ltd, who provide the strategic infrastructure for the site (highways/drainage/landscaping).

3) Other reserved matters applications (REM) – those applications made by individual developers seeking planning permission for the detailed design and layout of development proposals, including housing layouts and other uses on the site.
