On Tuesday 29 March, we welcomed the latest impressive leisure offering to Bicester Shopping Park, as PureGym opened its 300th branch here at Kingsmere.
To mark this exciting milestone, the event was attended by British Olympic athlete, Sir Chris Hoy who cut the ribbon, opening the new state-of-the-art gym. As PureGym’s fifth branch to open so far in 2022, this marks the halfway point in its expansion plans, with sights set to open a further 300 gyms across the UK over the next few years.
Located opposite Bicester Village in Bicester Shopping Park at Kingsmere, the arrival of PureGym will bolster the excellent sporting and leisure facilities already available to residents and the wider local community here at Kingsmere.
Spread over 12,400 sq ft, the 24- hour gym boasts a free weights area, cardio equipment, a fitness studio, a functional zone and fixed pin equipment. What’s more, a range of classes will be included within the membership price and personal trainers will also be on hand to help everyone achieve their fitness goals.
Martin Leach, Director of Countryside Properties (Bicester) Limited said: “We are delighted that PureGym has opened in Bicester Shopping Park here at Kingsmere, another great addition to this popular village-style development. It will not only enhance the lifestyle offering for residents living at Kingsmere, but will also benefit the wider Bicester community.”
