Retailers Announced for Kingsmere Village Centre
Kingsmere, Countryside Properties (Bicester) Limited’s development in Bicester, will be welcoming a first- class line up of retailers to its Village Centre in Spring 2019. Brands and retailers which have secured units at the commercial centre include Mid-Counties Co-op, Starfish (Fish and Chips), Domino’s Pizza, Haart Estate agents, Bicester Hairdressers and Busy Bees Nursery. read more…

Consultation is taking place on proposals for land west of Oxford Road within Phase 1, comprising:
- Reservation of land (circa 1.5 acres) for health uses
- Residential development (including 30% affordable housing)
Kingsmere Phase 2 update
An outline planning application for the second phase of Kingsmere was submitted in 2013 and approved May 2017.
MP Marks Milestone for Kingsmere Community
There was a double celebration at Kingsmere, Countryside Properties (Bicester) Limited’s development in Bicester on Friday 18th May as MP, Victoria Prentis handed over the keys to the newly built Community and Youth Centre buildings at Kingsmere Village Centre, to Cherwell District Council. At the same event, children from St Edburg’s Primary School unveiled two beautiful new public artworks created for the village centre. read more…

Grand Opening of Bicester Sports Facility
Residents in Bicester are about to benefit from a brand new sports facility at Kingsmere which is opening on Saturday, September 30th. Kingsmere Gets the Green Light for Phase Two in Bicester
Countryside Properties (Bicester) Limited has received the green light to start phase two at Kingsmere in Bicester. The developer plans to commence the start of infrastructure works early next year to pave the way for the creation of a further 663 new homes and additional community facilities. This number could rise to 709 homes if an Extra Care facility is provided on the site. The consent for these homes will bring the total number at Kingsmere to 2,450. read more…
Foundations Laid For a Flourishing Kingsmere Community
Victoria Prentis MP was on hand to witness the start of construction of the new Kingsmere Community and Youth Centre during a visit to the development on Friday July 14th. ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ schools in Oxfordshire have seen a 25% improvement from their students from 2012 to 2016, with 84% of the county’s pupils attending either Good or Outstanding schools in 2016, according to Ofsted’s annual report. Following suit is St Edburg’s Church of England primary school in Kingsmere, Bicester, recently receiving a rating of ‘Good’ in their latest Ofsted report. read more…
